I hope you’ve been staying safe and keeping up with healthy habits during these trying and strange times. All over the world, communities are enduring enormous hardship. Our own lives have been drastically altered. Fortunately, a few friends of mine have turned this challenge into an opportunity to make an impact, and launched Frontline Foods.
The idea is simple: support local restaurants and feed heroes on the front lines. The simplicity of this concept and what started as independent efforts across multiple cities, has now become a unified nationwide movement here in the US, complete with the support and partnership of the leading nonprofit in the space, World Central Kitchen.
The effort to date has raised over $4MM and delivered over 190,000 meals from 600 restaurants to more than 275 hospitals nationwide…and counting! But COVID-19 is far from over, and we need help to keep the movement going and growing. I’ve personally contributed, and if you’re in a position to do so, I invite you to join me in support of this important initiative.
So when you start your Zero timer in the coming days, consider providing a meal to those on the front lines by donating.
